 Angelina Jolie DCMG (/dZoU’li:(born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975)is an American actress as well as a filmmaker and human rights activist. A recipient of numerous awards, which include an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards and was named the highest-paid Hollywood actress multiple times.Jolie made her debut on screen when she was a kid, along with her father, Jon Voight, in Lookin' to Get Out (1982) and her career in film started in earnest a decade later with the low-budget production Cyborg 2 (1993), then her first lead role in a major feature, Hackers (1995). She appeared in the biographical cable film George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998). In 1999, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted. She was the main character in Lara Croft, Tomb Raider (2001), where she played the title character of the video game hero. Her acting career continued by appearing in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008).
