 John Christopher Depp II (born on June 9, 1963) is an American actor and musician from the United States. Numerous awards have been presented to Depp among them the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award. He also received nominations for three Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards and Platoon (1986). Depp became famous in the form of a 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990). The 1990s saw Depp was mostly seen in independent movies with auteur directors, often playing bizarre characters. Cry-Baby (1990), Cry-Baby?
