Lauren Holly was born October 28th, 1963. She has played the roles of Sheriff Deputy Maxine Stewart in the television show Picket Fences. She also played NCIS Director Jenny Shepard in the series NCIS, Dr. Betty Rogers on Motive, Mary Swanson in Dumb and Dumber, Bruce Lee's wife Linda Lee in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Darian Smalls in Beautiful Girls, and Gigi in What Women Want.Holly's acting career started at the age of 20, when she starred as Carla Walicki in two episodes of Hill Street Blues. At the age of 23, she was cast as Julie Rand Chandler in ABC's soap drama All My Children (1986-1989). Holly was the character Betty Cooper, a comic book character in the 1990 TV film Archie: To Riverdale, and Back Again. In 1992, Holly was cast opposite Tom Skerritt as Maxine Stewart, a small-town deputy sheriff. She appeared in every episode, excluding one of the CBS Picket Fences seasons. In the 1993 episode of Dragon in 1993, she was Linda Lee Cadwell (the wife of Bruce Lee, a martial artist and actor).
