Martha Higareda

 Higareda was the daughter of Jose Luis Higareda and actress Miriam Higareda. She was born in Villahermosa Tabasco, Mexico. She began acting on stage at a very early age, as well as dancing jazz, flamenco tap and folklore. She moved to Mexico City at 14 from Tabasco which was her country of birth to pursue acting. She made her debut in theater, appearing in plays like "Little Women" or "Don Juan." "Being an advanced student she entered College several years early at the age of 15 and was studying Communications at El Tecnologico de Monterrey. In the mornings, she would go to college and in the evenings she attended acting classes. She also appeared in theater on weekends. The following year, her parents and sister relocated to Mexico City and attended acting school together with her. Her first TV appearance was as an anchor hostess on the Disney Channel's Zapping Zone. A year later, her mother and sister moved to Mexico City to attend acting school with Martha.
