Sofia Pernas, an American actress born July 31st, 1989, is currently living in Los Angeles. She is from the Moroccan-Spanish family. She was a part of the NBC series The Brave and currently stars in the Paramount+ action adventure series Blood & Treasure.Pernas played Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless from 2015 to 2017, and also appeared in the telenovela Jane the Virgin from 2016 until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, she appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera. Also, she appeared on Jane the Virgin, the telenovela from 2016 until 2017. Her mother is from Morocco and her father is Spanish. Both are multilingual. She is fluent in four languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic and German. Although she initially planned for a career in journalism she was redirected to the world of acting and modeling after she was scouted.
