Ben Roethlisberger is an American professional footballer with a the fortune of $100 million. Also known as "Big Ben," Roethlisberger is best known for playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2004. Ben was named the Offensive rookie of the season following his debut season. He was also named Offensive Rookie of the Year two years later. Ben is also well-known for his ability to play outside of the passing zone, using techniques that he refers to as "backyard football. "Ben Roethlisberger was born on March 2nd of 1982 in Lima, Ohio. The years in high school were a time in which his athletic abilities were evident. Ben was not only the captain of the football team, but also a leader of the baseball and basketball teams. Since Ben was the son's coach, he preferred that Ben take on the role of quarterback. Ben did not get to play this position until the end of his senior year. He moved to Miami University in 2000 but was redshirted in his first season.
