Haruka

 Haruka Nanase (Qi Lai Yao Nanase Haruka) is the principal protagonist of the anime series Free!, beginning with Free!, and the light novel HighSpeed! written by Kouji Ohji. Haruka is a freestyle swimming and was vice-captain for the Iwatobi Highschool Swim Club. He is currently studying at Hidaka University, where he is also a part of the swimming club. The hair of his is short and straight with long bangs that hang between his eyes. He is serious and rarely shows emotion. He often wore his jammers over his normal clothes during high school to ensure he was ready to swim at a minute's notice. As pointed out by members of his swimming team, all of his jammers are almost identical (black with slight variations in the purple striping) however, he says they're all different sizes, and he has a hard time choosing which one to wear in the morning. His triceps and abdominal muscles (upper arms and abdomen) are the strongest.
