 American producer and director Ken Burns has a net worth $3.5 million. Ken Burns is an American filmmaker and producer, well-known for his numerous documentaries and documentary series on a variety of historical subjects. His most famous works include "The Civil War,"" Jazz," Prohibition," The Roosevelts," and the "Vietnam War." Burns' filmmaking style has been recognized for his utilization of archive footage as well as slow zooms in and out of photos and films, a technique known as"the "Ken Burns effect. "Burns is also the recipient of over 20 honorary degrees. The film he directed "The Civil War", which won more than 40 major TV and film awards, included two Emmy Awards and two Grammy Awards, Producer of the Year Award (from the Producers Guild of America), a People's Choice Award and a Peabody Award. He also received a duPont–Columbia Prize as well as a D. W. Griffith Award.
