Usain Bolt

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has an estimated net worth of $90 million. At his peak, Usain Bolt was the fastest person on earth and one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, especially during Olympics years. Usain earned $20-30 million per year in the years leading to the Olympics. He is the most highly-paid track and fields athlete of all time. You can imagine that the major portion of his earnings were from endorsements, not on-track competition prizes. The biggest sum of money he earned came from the German shoe company Puma which paid Usain $9 million a year to wear their shoes all the time both at and off the track. Contracts with Visa, Nissan, and Gatorade brought Usain additional millions. In 2010, Bolt released a top-selling autobiography that came with a multi-million dollar advance from publisher Harper Collins. Usain also receives appearance fees that range from $250,000 to $500,000 to participate in track and field competitions across the world. Usain has earned eight gold medals in his Olympic career. He holds a number of world records including 100 meters (9.58 seconds) and 200 meters (19.19).
