Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. She was raised listening to traditional Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, as well being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. After 2000, she emigrated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she returned to her current home in Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing classical Latin American Music. Her passion for the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and educator. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for the opportunity to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
