Emma

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). After moving to Oxfordshire when she was five, Emma enrolled at the Dragon School. Emma was only six when she realized she wanted to become an actress. She was trained for many years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford in which she learned acting and singing. She had already performed in a variety of Stagecoach or school shows by the time she was 10 years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the movie version to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for first time at the beginning of 1999. Emma was discovered through Emma's Oxford Theater teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been picked for these characters. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's debut on the big screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. The highest-grossing movie of 2001 The film broke records for its opening day opening and the opening weekend's earnings. Reviewers have been highly lauding the film and the performance by three young actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her outstanding performance. Emma's performance was nominated and won five awards later in the film.
