Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) received the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. He released Dopamina which was his top charting second album, in the following year. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a family of musicians his mother and older brother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about the music he plays as a compulsory activity. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele and the piano. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change the direction of his career.
