Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, trap, and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program.
