Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began as an actress in the late 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the movie Tezaab with an established actor Anil Kooor. Her next film was the film Dil In which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. Early on, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle class she began to learn how to dance. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled for a few years as most of her initial films were flops. In the end, she was successful with Indian film and climbed to the top. She took a break from acting after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. In recent years, Dixit played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her work in the field of social service is known to the world.
