Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 in 1985) is an American actress. She has received various accolades which include the Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards as well as three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and the Tony Award; making her one of the newest people to receive nominations for the "Triple Crown of Acting" and the youngest person to do so without winning.Kendrick began her acting career in theatre productions at the age of just. She was the main character in High Society, a Broadway musical in which she performed. In this role she was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in Musical. Her debut film role was in Camp which was a musical comedy. She gained fame because of her character as the star of the Twilight Saga (2008)-2012. The film also received recognition for the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2008), which brought her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, she received the honor for her part in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
