Her previous roles were limited to performed in school productions. Watson was also featured in the TV adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes and lent her voice to The Tale of Despereaux (2008). Following the final Harry Potter film, Watson appeared in a role as a support on My Week with Marilyn (2011).
