Jameela Jamil

 Jameela Alia Jamil, born 25 February 1986, is a British actor. She started her career with Channel 4, where she hosted a pop culture series in the T4 strand from 2009 until 2012. From 2009 until 2012 she was a host of the T4 strand for a series about pop culture. Later, she became the radio host of The Official Chart and co-host of The Official Chart Update on BBC Radio 1. She was the first female presenter of The Official Chart, a BBC Radio 1 chart show.In 2016 Jamil relocated to the United States. She played Tahani Al-Jamil in the NBC the fantasy comedy show The Good Place. TBS The late-night game show The Misery Index, is hosted by Jamil. Legendary judges her voguing reality-based show. Jamil has been involved in two projects involving superheroes in 2022: DC League of Super-Pets animated film and the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series She-Hulk Attorney at Law. She stated that Jamil was born with a hearing impairment that was congenital and labyrinthitis. She has had many operations to correct. Also, she had hearing loss of 50% in her right ear, while her left ear had 70%.
