Kenya Summer Moore (born January 24 1971) is an American actress, model, producer, author television host and businesswoman. Moore is most well-known for her victory in 1993 in Miss USA. She also was a part of Bravo's fifth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore rose to fame in 1993, when she won the Miss USA contest and placed within the top six in the Miss Universe pageant. After Carole Gist, Moore was the second African-American woman to be crowned Miss USA. She also has the distinction of being the first woman of dark skin color to win the competition. Moore appeared in films and TV shows such as Waiting To Exhale (1995) as well as Deliver Us From Eva(2003), Girlfriends (2004), and The Steve Harvey Show (1998). She also was a part of the team of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015.
