Raven-Symony Christina PEARMAN-Maday (nye Pearman; December 10 October, 1985) is an American performer and actress. Raven has been honored with numerous accolades such as five NAACP Image Awards, two Kids Choice Awards and three Young Artist Awards, and three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. She was included on VH1's "100 Most Influential Child Stars" list in 2012. Raven-Symony started her career as a child actor, playing the roles of Olivia Kendall (1989-1992) on The Cosby Show and Nicole Lee (1993-1997) on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997). Both of these roles garnered many nominations and awards. She was 15 when she was chosen to play Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel television series That's So Raven (1993-1992). In this role she was nominated for and won numerous awards. She was a part of Dr. Dolittle (1998), Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001) as well as The Princess Diaries 2 (2004).
