Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. is also called Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball player. He was born on September 25, 1965. He played for 17 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) which included six NBA championships as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is considered to be one of the top small forwards of all time. He played an important role in the evolution of the Bulls into a championship squad and helped to popularize the NBA during the 1990s. He was seven-time NBA All-Star and was the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1994. He was listed as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History during the 1996-97 season, and is one of four players who get his jersey retired by the Chicago Bulls (the others being Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, and Jordan). He was a key member of the Chicago Bulls Championship and 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship teams and was selected as two of the top 10 Teams.
