Anson

 Anson Williams, born Anson William Heimlich on the 25th of September 1949, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor and singer. He is most well-known for his role in Happy Days (1974-1984), where he played the part of Warren "Potsie", a talented and well-intentioned singer. However, his appearances diminished in the subsequent seasons. In some episodes, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph formed a band combo that played at Arnold's Drive-In and other places. In the role of Potsie, Williams actually sang the lead vocals of the group. Williams's wife of his first, Lorrie Mahaffey, portrayed Potsie's lover, Jennifer, in later seasons.After Happy Days, Williams embarked on a far more active career as a television director and producer, beginning with short shows for adolescent-age children, including after-school programs "No Greater gift" (1985) and "The Drug Knot" (1986) as well as the television-movie Lone Star Kid (1986).Despite his accomplishments as a director as well as producer, Williams has occasionally returned to his work on Happy Days in retrospective ways.
