Lucy Verasamy

 Lucy Verasamy (born 2 August 1980) is a British weather forecaster on ITV Weather, ITV Racing and ITV's Good Morning Britain.Verasamy was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and went to Silfield Primary School in Wymondham, Framlingham College Junior School in Suffolk and King Edward VII School in King's Lynn, where she was a student at the A-level in geography. In 2001, she graduated from Brunel University with a BSc. Hons. degree in geography. She went on to become meteorologist at the Weather Centre of the Press Association (later changed its name to Meteogroup the largest private Weather company) which was a weather forecasting company that wrote for television, radio and newspapers. Verasamy, who had previously worked at the Sky Weather Centre as a trainee meteorologist prior to becoming a regular presenter of the Sky News' Sunrise breakfast show and then joined Sky. Sky News launched a Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy feature in 2007 as part of their Green Britain campaign.
