Alex Trebek continues to be an honest, kind man long after his death. The former "Jeopardy!" Trebek and "Jeopardy!" are donating the outfit worn by host. is donated to The Doe Fund. This organization finds jobs that pay as well as housing, vocational education, continuing education as well as social services for Americans with a history of imprisonment, addiction, and homelessness. 14 suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 ties, and other clothes were donated at the suggestion of the son of Trebek's Matthew. The clothing will be given to men who are in need to attend job interviews, as part of The Doe Fund's "Ready Willing, Willing, and Able" in reentry program.The new 50,000 square foot facility is planned to be exclusively for homeless senior citizens located in the San Fernando Valley. Trebek did not give it as an unintentional donation. He's been contributing financial support to Hope of the Valley for several years. He gave $100,000 to the Hope of the Valley in March 2020. This money will be used to build a North Hollywood complex. Once that facility is completed it will be home to the "Alex and Jean Trebek Multi-Purpose Room." It will have approximately 80 beds, bathrooms as also a laundry room.
